Brian Eno's debut Here Come The Warm Jets' hybrid of glam, prog and art rock continued in a vein similar to Eno's previous albums with Roxy Music, but further upped the experimental ante. In developing the album's words and music, Eno used unusual methods, including dancing for his band members - having them play accordingly, and singing.

Eno casually pre-empts whole musical genres by 20 years with tracks like the titular Here Come the Warm Jets, dips into 50’s rock and roll and even rips into his old bandmate in hilariously.

Eno's first true solo album was 's "Here Come The Warm Jets", which managed to make the Top 30 in the UK. This time around, Eno had a glam rock sound that David Bowie and QUEEN had popularized. The album proved so critically popular that Eno (even though he was in poor health) decided to tour.
